2. Volunteer opportunities in the 3rd District---Doreen Farr
3. Volunteer opportunities in the 4th District—John Sterling
1. SB CAN is proud to endorse
Doreen Farr for 3rd District Supervisor, and
John Sterling for 4th District Supervisor
Dear Members & Friends,
SB CAN has been closely examining the candidates to determine where they stand on issues important to the entire County, including affordable and workforce housing, preserving agriculture and open space, and developing alternative transportation.
The candidates whose views and values most closely match our priorities are 3rd District candidate Doreen Farr, and 4th District candidate John Sterling. These candidates demonstrate commitment to SB CAN’s core principles of social justice, environmental protection, sustainable transportation, and conservation and expansion of affordable housing in
As a former planning commissioner, business person, and community leader, Ms. Farr has had significant experience and success working with others to tackle complex issues that County leaders face on a daily basis. She is informed, focused and detailed in the way that she will address land use policies, county services, and constituent needs.
Mr. Sterling, a former city manager and police chief, is well known for his ability to bring together people from diverse backgrounds and with differing viewpoints to solve tough problems. He believes that “an informed and involved public is key to a successful government,” and promises full-time commitment to ensuring a voice and equal representation to all.
We hope you will join us in supporting these two candidates and helping to elect them as our new
