SB CAN is a membership-based organization that draws its strength from the active participation and support of people throughout the county who share our mission.  We hold annual membership meetings to elect our board members who represent various regions across the county and a wide range of environmental and social justice interests.

SB CAN 's Annual Oscar Party

Every year SB CAN friends and members gather at this fundraiser to watch the Academy Awards, predict who will win the Oscars, toast the winners, and share good food and good wine.  This year, in solidarity with the striking Writers Guild, we held a non-event, where we had the opportunity to predict the Oscars and win fun prizes, but everyone celebrated the event at home.

Panel Presentation on Santa Barbara County's 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness 

SB CAN presents the SANTA BARBARA PREMIERE of "Resurrecting the Champ," starring Samuel L. Jackson, Josh Harnett, Kathryn Morris, Alan Alda, and Teri Hatcher. This one-time showing touches upon the topic of homelessness and is co-sponsored by the Santa Barbara Community Housing Corporation.
